Welcome to TattooLink. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TattooLink mobile application (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THE APP.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using TattooLink, you:

• Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
• Confirm that you are at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy

2. Description of Service

TattooLink is a platform that connects tattoo artists with clients. The App provides the following features:

• Artist profile creation and portfolio management
• Client discovery of artists and studios
• Booking appointment requests and negotiations
• In-app messaging between artists and clients
• Review and rating system
• Location-based search using map integration
• Push notifications for bookings, messages, and updates

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Types

Artist Accounts: Artists may create profiles showcasing their work, set pricing, manage bookings, and communicate with clients.

Client Accounts: Clients may browse artists, request bookings, write reviews, and save favorite artists and portfolios.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Providing false or misleading information
• Failure to comply with applicable laws

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or explicit content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other accounts
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Spam, solicit, or advertise outside the platform

5. Artist Responsibilities

If you create an Artist account, you additionally agree to:

• Provide accurate portfolio images of your own work
• Set fair and honest pricing information
• Respond to booking requests in a timely manner
• Honor confirmed bookings or provide reasonable notice for cancellations
• Comply with all health, safety, and licensing requirements in your jurisdiction
• Maintain professional conduct with clients
• Ensure you have the right to use all images in your portfolio

6. Client Responsibilities

If you use the App as a Client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate booking information
• Communicate clearly about design expectations
• Honor confirmed appointments or provide reasonable notice for cancellations
• Make payments directly with the artist as agreed
• Leave honest, truthful reviews based on your actual experience

7. Bookings and Payments

7.1 Booking Process

TattooLink facilitates booking requests between clients and artists through an offer/counteroffer negotiation system. The App does NOT process payments.

7.2 Payment Arrangements

All payment arrangements, including deposits, pricing, and payment methods, are made directly between the artist and client. TattooLink is not a party to these transactions and is not responsible for:

• Payment disputes
• Failed transactions
• Refunds or chargebacks
• Quality of services rendered

7.3 Cancellations

Cancellation policies are determined by individual artists. We encourage both parties to communicate clearly about cancellation terms before confirming a booking.

8. Content Ownership and License

8.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to TattooLink (portfolio images, profile photos, reviews, messages). By uploading content, you grant TattooLink a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display your content within the App
• Store your content on our servers (Firebase Storage)
• Distribute your content to other users as part of the App's functionality
• Use your content for promotional purposes (with your consent)

8.2 Content Representations

By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to upload the content
• The content does not violate any third-party rights
• The content complies with these Terms and applicable laws
• Portfolio images accurately represent your own work (for artists)

8.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that:

• Violates these Terms
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains inappropriate or offensive material
• Violates applicable laws or regulations

9. Reviews and Ratings

The review system is designed to provide honest feedback. When leaving a review, you agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate feedback based on your actual experience
• Avoid offensive, abusive, or defamatory language
• Not leave reviews for compensation or incentives
• Not post fake reviews or manipulate ratings

We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 TattooLink Property

The App, including its design, features, graphics, and code, is owned by TattooLink and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works from the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Remove copyright or trademark notices
• Use our trademarks without permission

10.2 Copyright Infringement

If you believe content on the App infringes your copyright, please contact us at tattoolink.app@gmail.com with:

• Description of the copyrighted work
• Location of the infringing content
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief that use is unauthorized

11. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

• Firebase (authentication, database, storage)
• Google Places API (location services)
• Expo (push notifications)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

12. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security of data transmission

We do not guarantee:

• The quality of services provided by artists
• The accuracy of artist portfolios or profiles
• Successful booking outcomes
• Safety of in-person meetings arranged through the App

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TATTOOLINK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Actions or omissions of artists or clients
• Disputes between users
• Quality of tattoo services

Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid to use the App (currently $0), whichever is greater.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TattooLink, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you upload to the App
• Your interactions with other users

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Between Users

Disputes between artists and clients (booking disputes, payment issues, service quality) must be resolved directly between the parties. TattooLink is not responsible for mediating or resolving such disputes.

15.2 With TattooLink

For disputes with TattooLink, you agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting us at tattoolink.app@gmail.com.

15.3 Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.

16. Geographic Restrictions

The App is available globally, but tattoo services must comply with local laws and regulations. Artists are responsible for:

• Obtaining necessary licenses and permits
• Complying with health and safety regulations
• Adhering to age restrictions (typically 18+ for tattoos)

17. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use TattooLink. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

18. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending a notification through the App or email

Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Termination

19.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through Account Settings or by contacting us.

19.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal or fraudulent activity
• Harm to other users or the platform
• Extended inactivity

19.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App immediately ceases
• Your account data may be deleted after 30 days
• Provisions that by their nature should survive (liability limitations, indemnification) shall continue

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TattooLink operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TattooLink regarding use of the App.
